After a dock door was backed into and forced out of its guides, we performed an emergency repair to restore safe, functional operation. Both sides were out of alignment, with a bent bottom bar and damaged slats and endlocks.

Our team removed the right-hand guide, repaired damaged slats, made a relief cut in the bottom bar, and reinforced it with steel angle and hardware. The guides were carefully spread, realigned, and re-fastened to ensure smooth travel. We then lubricated the endplates and guides and documented the door for future slat replacement.

The door is now functional and secure, allowing continued use while awaiting permanent slat replacement.
