We upgraded an antiquated low-headroom garage door system with a new 9′ x 6’9″ Clopay Gallery GD1SP insulated steel garage door rated at 6.5 R-value. Finished in black, the door features a grille-on-Arch 1 double-strength window panel for a bold look, along with a new black vinyl jamb weatherseal to improve sealing and durability.

To support the new installation, we added lumber to the header and replaced a damaged Genie opener with a LiftMaster 2220L chain drive Wi-Fi trolley opener, masonry-mounted for a secure setup. Per opener warranty requirements, steel reinforcement was added to the top panel. All old components and debris were removed and properly disposed of, leaving a clean, fully updated system.
