We recently completed a 25-square shingle roof replacement using the GAF Timberline HDZ roofing system in Pewter Gray. This project delivered a full exterior upgrade designed for long-term durability, improved ventilation, and a clean, modern look.

The scope included removing the existing roofing materials, followed by a thorough inspection of the roof deck. Repairs were made where needed to ensure a solid foundation before installing the full GAF system.

We installed GAF Deck Armor underlayment and Weather Watch ice and water shield for premium moisture protection. The new roof features GAF Pro-Start starter strips, step flashing, a new pipe boot, and drip edge around all roof edges. The GAF Timberline architectural shingles were installed using a 6-nail pattern for enhanced wind resistance and strength.

To improve attic airflow and roof performance, we installed a new attic fan, cut a new ridge vent, and finished with GAF ridge vent components and Seal-A-Ridge hip and ridge cap shingles.

The project concluded with a full cleanup and disposal of all debris, leaving the site clean and the roof system fully updated. With enhanced protection, ventilation, and style, this roof is built to perform for decades to come.
