A new pressure-treated shed-style portico was constructed with a properly pitched roof structure and decorative colonial columns.

The new portico received a black standing seam metal roof with matching trim and edge metal, along with a gutter connected to the existing downspout.
The ceiling was finished with mahogany tongue-and-groove soffit boards, with stain and protective finish options selected to coordinate with the new entry door.
White PVC trim was also installed around exposed fascia and beam areas, along with decorative column trim and sealed joints and transitions.
The existing entry door and sidelights were removed, and the opening was modified and reframed to accommodate a new French door assembly.
