For this project in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, we completed a full front entry upgrade designed to improve the home’s appearance, security, and weather protection. The project involved replacing both the main entry door and the storm door with high-quality ProVia products.

The project began with the careful removal of the existing front door and storm door. Once removed, we inspected and prepared the door opening to ensure it was ready for a proper installation.
Preparing the opening is an important step that helps ensure the new door fits securely and operates correctly.
We installed a ProVia Heritage smooth fiberglass entry door featuring Half-Moon Brookhaven clear glass in a Mountain Berry finish, giving the entryway a distinctive and elegant appearance.
The installation included:
Secure installation of the ProVia Heritage entry door
A new silver handle set and deadbolt for improved security
Proper fastening and alignment of the door system
Professional caulking to create a weather-tight seal
To maintain the home’s interior finish, the existing interior trim was carefully preserved and reinstalled, allowing the new door to blend seamlessly with the surrounding space.
To complement the new entry door, we installed a ProVia Deluxe Series storm door (Model 389) featuring Half-Lite glass with a removable screen.
This storm door provides additional protection from weather while allowing ventilation when needed.
The storm door installation included:
A silver handle set to match the entry hardware
Proper alignment and secure installation
Reinstallation of the existing exterior trim
Sealing of the door jamb for weather protection
As part of the project, we also capped the back door jamb to improve durability and provide a clean, finished appearance.
This finishing step helps protect the door frame from moisture while giving the entryway a polished look.
