The project began with the removal and disposal of the existing garage door and all associated components. The existing aluminum-wrapped capping and door jamb were cut back to accommodate the new installation and provide a flush mounting surface.

A new Clopay 4050 steel garage door with a 6.5 R-value insulation rating was installed to replace the outdated door.

An inside slide lock was installed as part of the new door system, providing an additional locking feature.
