We completed a targeted exterior repair project focused on restoring roof integrity and protecting surrounding components from further damage. The scope included removing a section of gutter, soffit, fascia, and shingles to properly inspect all underlying lumber and framing.
During the inspection, compromised materials were identified and addressed, including replacing damaged fascia wood and one sheet of plywood to restore a solid foundation. We then installed new underlayment, drip edge, and starter shingles before tying new shingles seamlessly into the existing roof system. All shingles were sealed where necessary to ensure long-term protection.
To complete the repair, we installed new soffit and fascia capping, replaced the affected gutter section using a proper connection piece and gutter seal, added a new outlet, and reconnected the existing downspout. This repair restored proper drainage, structural stability, and a clean, finished appearance.
