Charming Exteriors completed a garage door jamb restoration project in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, addressing damaged and deteriorated jamb areas around two garage doors. The project included jamb repairs, new AZEK PVC trim, replacement weatherseal, and detailed caulking and sealing for a clean, low-maintenance finish.
The existing garage door jambs were repaired while maintaining the current garage door openings and profiles. The inside right-hand jamb of the left garage door was repositioned and properly secured.
The lower right-hand jamb of the right garage door was also removed and replaced with new lumber due to existing deterioration and damage.
New AZEK PVC trim was installed along the interior garage door jambs, including the vertical uprights and header areas. Additional PVC trim was installed along the exterior-facing portions of the jambs where required.
The new trim was properly fastened, with exposed hardware concealed where possible for a clean finished appearance.
New vinyl garage door jamb weatherseal was installed around the applicable openings. PVC joints, transitions, and weatherseal were caulked and sealed as needed to complete the installation.
All debris generated from the repairs and installation was removed from the property.
The restoration was designed to repair the identified jamb areas while providing a clean, low-maintenance PVC finish without changing the existing garage door openings or profiles.
