About the Project

We completed a full porch build, expanding outdoor living space while complementing the home’s existing structure and finishes. Our team began by constructing a new porch roof and deck, extending the structure seamlessly from the exterior of the existing porch and anchoring it to the roof’s eaves framing.

We installed double headers and sides, and properly framed the roof with new rafters secured using hurricane-rated hardware to ensure strength and compliance with building codes. The structure was supported with four sturdy posts set in concrete footers, which were wrapped in aluminum and trimmed with vinyl for a clean, finished look.

For safety and style, we installed new vinyl railings all the way around the porch. A new deck frame was built with double headers, followed by the installation of AZEK composite decking and trim that matched the existing style, creating a consistent and durable surface.

The ceiling of the new porch area was finished with vinyl soffit, and fascia headers were capped with aluminum to protect and polish the edges. New shingles were installed on the roof to match the existing house roofline, and siding was added to the porch gable, also matched to the home’s original finish.

To ensure proper drainage, we installed an extension to the gutter system and reattached the existing downspout.

We also inspected the existing porch framing and reinforced it where necessary to maintain structural integrity.

This project was completed using code-compliant lumber and hurricane-rated hardware, backed by our lifetime workmanship warranty and a 30-year materials guarantee—a porch that’s built to last and built to impress.
