Charming Exteriors completed a garage door service project in Bristol, Pennsylvania, involving preventive maintenance and the replacement of outdated garage door openers on both a two-car garage door and a single garage door. The project also included mounting improvements, jamb adjustments, new weatherseal, and cleanup.
The two-car garage door received preventive maintenance to help support smooth operation and optimal performance.
The existing opener was removed and replaced with a LiftMaster 2220L chain-drive trolley opener featuring a solid steel rail and the necessary components for installation. A 5-inch section of the inside jamb was also cut back to allow for smoother door travel.
A perforated angle was installed on the ceiling to provide proper mounting support for the new opener.
The single garage door also received preventive maintenance before installation of a new LiftMaster 2220L chain-drive trolley opener.
Perforated angle was installed at the top panel and ceiling for the opener installation. The garage door jambs were also updated by removing wood from the vertical jamb areas and installing new vinyl jamb weatherseal with caulking.
Preventive maintenance was performed as part of the work to help keep the garage doors and their components operating properly.
The project also included updated mounting hardware and weathersealing details to provide a clean, finished installation.
All job-related debris was disposed of upon completion.
